Our Parent-Child program empowers parents and caregivers during the precious early years. Through quiet observation and shared conversation in a safe, welcoming space, you’ll develop deeper trust in your child’s natural development while building community with other families.
All families and identities are welcome.

Mornings Together
Parent-Toddler Classes
Mornings Together classes offer a gentle introduction to Waldorf Education for parents and their little ones (12-36 months). Each morning will be a joyful journey through outdoor and indoor play and exploration, preparation and sharing of food around the table, and seasonal songs, stories, and crafts. Parents will build a practice of sustained peaceful observation time each week and share conversations on topics such as sleeping and waking, eating, communication, and healthy boundaries.

In-person Welcome Orientation: Sunday, September 27, 9:00 - 11:00 am
Class Dates: September 28 - December 14; Choose from Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday class. Session consists of 11 classes, in addition to the Orientation. No classes 11/24, 11/25, 11/26, 11/27.
Cost: $545
Time: 9:00 – 11:00 am

Nature and Nurture Family Connections – Outdoor Series
Nature and Nurture Families gather on six Friday mornings at a local nature preserve or open space to meander in nature with other parents and their little wanderers (0-36 months). We will recharge, share, and connect, nourishing both ourselves and our children. Classes include a shared trail-friendly snack, some simple nature-inspired crafts, playful songs and rhymes, and occasional stories. Location details for each gathering will be shared via email in advance.
This series is resting for the fall season and will return as part of our Winter/Spring 2027 Parent-Child offerings.

Warm Beginnings
Parent-Infant Circle
Join us in a warm, nurturing space where you and your infant (birth - 11 months, not yet walking) can connect with other families, deepen your understanding of your baby’s remarkable first year, and build confidence in your own parenting capacities. Together, we’ll practice peaceful observation, learn seasonal songs and fingerplays, explore the foundational senses that support healthy development, and share the joys and challenges of early parenthood. This session will also include some simple and nourishing artistic activity for parents, and warm drinks and snacks each week.

Class Dates: Mondays: October 5 - December 14 (9 Mondays, plus online orientation on 9/28). No classes on 10/12 and 11/23.

Registration Policies
Thank you for your interest in Waldorf School of the Peninsula’s Parent-Child program! The policies outlined below are designed to ensure a smooth registration process and create the best possible experience for all families.
Thank you for reviewing these important policies before registering:
First come, first served: Sign-ups are based on completed registration with payment received.
Payment required: Space is only reserved once payment is received. Class sizes are small and space is limited.
One class per week: Mornings Together classes are designed for once-per-week attendance. Please choose only one class day per week, per family.
One adult, one child: Each registration covers one adult and one age-eligible child, unless otherwise specified.
Childcare: Please arrange alternate care for older children.
Materials included: All materials are included in the class fee.
Cancellation policy: Refunds available up to 15 days before class starts, minus a $70 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations within 15 days of class start.
No make-ups: Due to space and schedule limitations, we cannot offer make-ups for missed classes.
Waitlist Information
The waitlist becomes active only AFTER registration closes for the session. We contact families strictly in order of request received. The waitlist clears at the end of each registration period.
To join the waitlist: If your desired class is sold out, send ONE email to: parentchildwaitlist@waldorfpeninsula.org.

You’ll receive an automated confirmation email when added to the waitlist.
Important: Also sign up for the Early Childhood News list for next session information. The waitlist does not carry over between sessions.
Health & Safety Protocols
General Wellness: If you or your child are symptomatic of any transmissible disease, please refrain from coming to class. In the event that a family member or close contact tests positive for Covid-19 kindly notify the school as soon as possible and before coming to a class.
