Parent-Child Program

Our Parent-Child program empowers parents and caregivers during the precious early years. Through quiet observation and shared conversation in a safe, welcoming space, you’ll develop deeper trust in your child’s natural development while building community with other families.

All families and identities are welcome.

Mornings Together
Parent-Toddler Classes

Mornings Together classes offer a gentle introduction to Waldorf Education for parents and their little ones. Each morning will be a joyful journey through outdoor and indoor play and exploration, preparation and sharing of food around the table, and seasonal songs, stories, and crafts. Parents will build a practice of sustained peaceful observation time each week and share conversations on topics such as sleeping and waking, eating, communication, and healthy boundaries.

Nature and Nurture Family Connections – Outdoor Series

Nature and Nurture Families gather on six Friday mornings at a local nature preserve or open space to meander in nature with other parents and their little wanderers. We will recharge, share, and connect, nourishing both ourselves and our children. As we explore and discover together, we will learn ways to cultivate a sense of ease and gratitude for the gifts of being in the outdoors with young ones and support one another in the joyful and sometimes arduous business of parenting them. Classes include a shared trail-friendly snack, some simple nature-inspired crafts, playful songs and rhymes, and occasional stories.

Location details for each gathering will be shared via email in advance. Past locations have included Shoup Park, Sanborn County Park, Picchetti Ranch Preserve, and Hidden Villa.
