Little Shop, Big Heart

A New Chapter for WSP’s Store, Heart's Delight

If you haven't wandered into Heart's Delight lately, now is a great time.

WSP's beloved school store — stocked with natural toys, beautiful books, art supplies, natural body care, handmade treasures, and more — has a new volunteer manager, and she's bringing fresh energy to a space that has always been more than just a shop.

Paloma Lechuga, parent of a 5th and 7th grader at WSP, stepped into the role this year. A longtime shop owner and maker herself, she brings both professional experience and deep community roots to Heart's Delight. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to help nurture it as a warm, creative, and inclusive space for our community," she says. She recently hosted a crafting gathering in which participants created greeting cards from pressed flowers.

Paloma is quick to acknowledge the foundation she inherited. Outgoing manager (and now WSP Admissions Associate) Jaime Khoo shepherded the store with care and dedication for years, and her work is visible in every corner. We're grateful to Jaime for everything she poured into Heart's Delight, and excited to see where Paloma takes it next!

Heart's Delight is located on our Los Altos campus and is open to the public Wednesday through Friday, 11 am to 3 pm. Can't make it in person? Browse the full collection online. You’re sure to find something lovely.
