Cross-Divisional Learning: From Eggs to Chicks
A recent collaboration between Grade 8 and the High School brought science to life in the most memorable way. While High School students explored embryology with Dr. Taylor, Grade 8 was deep in their agriculture studies. Together, the classes incubated chicken eggs — a project that blended biology, agriculture, and hands-on curiosity.
The highlight came during Main Lesson, when one of the chicks hatched right before the students’ eyes! The moment sparked joy and wonder across both classes, connecting scientific study with the tangible rhythms of life.
This cross-divisional project is a perfect example of how WSP fosters collaboration, curiosity, and shared learning across grades.
