Grade 4 Class Meeting - 6:30-8:00 PM

Teachers hold meetings for the parents of children in their class. These meetings are an integral part of school life. They are an important bridge between home and school, and offer parents an opportunity to become familiar with the activities of the class. The meetings may include discussions on various aspects of Waldorf education and serve as social gatherings for parents. Attendance is expected. If you are unable to attend, please notify your child's teacher.

Waldorf School of the Peninsula High School Open House - 10:00 AM -12:30 PM

The final WSP High School Open House of the 2007-08 school year takes place on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the WSP High School site in Cupertino located at 21050 McClellan Road.  Join our faculty for a Waldorf high school curriculum overview, sample lessons, and a question and answer session.  All middle school students and their parents are encouraged to attend; enrollment applications will be available.  Please call the WSP office at 650-948-8433 to let us know that you are coming, or send an email to office@waldorfpeninsula.org.

Board Meeting - 7:00 - 9:00 PM

The Board of Trustees generally meets on the Lower School campus on alternate Tuesdays. Meetings are open except where confidentiality is necessary.

Adult Education Early Childhood Series: "Going to School: The Seven-Year Change and School Readiness" with Bill Roberson - 7:00-9:00 PM

Join the WSP Adult Education Series on Early Childhood in the last of five talks by Bill Roberson.  This talk, entitled "Going to School: The Seven-Year Change and School Readiness," will look at the unfolding of individuality at the turning point of seven years and at what "readiness" means.  Parents of all grades are encouraged to attend.  A $5-20 donation to offset expenses will be much appreciated; the talk will take place on the Lower School campus.

School Tour (for parents only) - 9:30 - 11:00 am

Learn more about our school and Waldorf philosophy for educating the whole child. You will have the opportunity to see the kindergartens and grades in session and learn how the Waldorf curriculum is designed to engage the abilities of the growing child during each stage of their cognitive development. Parents of toddlers are welcome to learn about our blossoming nursery program. A question and answer period with a grades teacher follows the tour, which takes place on the Lower School campus at 11311 Mora Drive, Los Altos.
