Join the WSP Adult Education Series on Early Childhood in the fourth of five talks by Bill Roberson.  This talk, entitled "Rhythm, Warmth, and Reverence: Waldorf in the Home," will discuss how we can bring a Waldorf approach into our homes and lifestyles that supports our children's education and enriches our work as parents.  Parents of all grades are encouraged to attend.  A $5-20 donation to offset expenses will be much appreciated; the talk will take place on the Lower School campus.

School Tour (for parents only) - 9:30 - 11:00 am

Learn more about our school and Waldorf philosophy for educating the whole child. You will have the opportunity to see the kindergartens and grades in session and learn how the Waldorf curriculum is designed to engage the abilities of the growing child during each stage of their cognitive development. Parents of toddlers are welcome to learn about our blossoming nursery program. A question and answer period with a grades teacher follows the tour, which takes place on the Lower School campus at 11311 Mora Drive, Los Altos.

Rose Kindergarten Class Meeting - 6:30-7:00 PM

Teachers hold meetings for the parents of children in their class. These meetings are an integral part of school life. They are an important bridge between home and school, and offer parents an opportunity to become familiar with the activities of the class. The meetings may include discussions on various aspects of Waldorf education and serve as social gatherings for parents.  Attendance is expected. If you are unable to attend, please notify your child's teacher.
