Child Development with Astrid Schmitt-Stegmann
This course looks at the development of the child in the early stages of life. The focus will be the kindergarten and the younger grades, exploring what it means for a Waldorf teacher to work with a “healing” education. How do we support the development of a healthy habit life, balanced temperaments, and socially responsible character? The content of the class alternates lectures and discussions with experiential activities that work on strengthening the life forces of the young child.
January 8, 15, 22, 29 and February 5 & 12
Mondays, 8:00 – 9:30 pm
Fees: $20/classGrade 3 Party 6 - 8 pm
Third grade students and thier families will gather to celebrate the new year. |
